Baker Tilly To Deliver 4,000 Lbs. of Food to Gleaners, Dream Delivered

On August 28, the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, it is worth remembering that Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream was more than just racial justice; it was also about economic justice, jobs and eliminating poverty. The unfinished business of the March was to help poor people everywhere - and to end hunger in American - especially among children.

What: Hunger Heroes Food Drive culminates with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP delivering more than 4,000 lbs. of food items to Gleaners Community Food Bank. Baker Tilly has coordinated the month-long drive, asking its employees and clients to participate. Twelve clients of Baker Tilly’s metro Detroit office are participating.
