The following article is part of an ongoing effort to help homeless dogs in and around Toronto/Hamilton area find suitable and loving homes. Sometimes, the need extends beyond that area. Currently, the need is great but the homes are few. Your help is desperately needed.
All Breed Canine Rescue of London, Ontario would like to introduce a dear little 5-year-old Shih Tzu named Bailey, who was sitting in a pound because his owner did not come to find him.
“Who would let this little gem wander the streets alone and not look for him?” staff wonder.
According to rescue staff, Bailey is a well-behaved little fellow who gets along well with other small adult dogs and cats. He also likes children who are older and behave in a considerate manner.
This adorable little fellow is white and “soft caramel” in color with a little grey on his ears. He also has “a cute little under bite that draws you in!”
He is not used to being in a crate and when left alone, seems to suffer from a little separation anxiety. He needs a home where his owner(s) will be home much of the time, such as those who are retired or semi-retired. He would also benefit from having another small canine friend to keep him company when the family is out.
A fenced yard would be ideal, so Bailey can go outside to run and play. While inside, he is well behaved and only barks a little when someone is at the door. He is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm checked and treated with Revolution. To meet Bailey please go HERE and fill out an Adoption Application located on the left hand side of our website
Then send it via email to allbreedcaninerescue@sympatico.ca and put ‘Pet Inquiry: Bailey PFId#25093892’ in the subject line.
All Breed Canine Rescue (ABCR) is comprised of a small group of volunteers who saw the need to rescue dogs that other mainstream groups would not help. Some are shelter dogs or dogs that need new homes because their owners are sick, have moved or their life situation has changed. Based in St. Thomas, Ontario, ABCR covers Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford counties. There is no actual shelter so volunteers, foster homes and donations are always needed.
