I know it’s still snowing out there, but it’s never too early to start planning for the car show season. The Baie-D’Urfé Rescue Squad has sent me a notice of their third annual show and asked me to pass the information on.
They’re looking for cars, trucks, fire engines and military vehicles that are at least 25 years old to take part in the 3rd Annual Vintage Car and Truck Show, to be held at Fritz Farm in Daie-D’Urfé, on Sunday, August 4, from 10 to 4. Participating vehicles will be eligible for trophies and prizes, followed by a winner’s reception. Early registration will be $5, on-site registration will be $10. If you want to participate, you can e-mail autoexpobaiedurfe@gmail.com or call Bob Roe at 514-457-6510 or Alex Csank at 514-771-9513 for more information. You can also check out the Facebook page for the show.
Of course spectators are also welcome. In addition to the cars, live music will be provided by a barber shop chorus, a Dixieland band, and a jazz trio. Food and drink will be available for purchase, and there will also be vendors of car-related products and services.
