Bahama Breeze Restaurant, located on the Courtney Campbell Causeway, is part of a series of reviews of restaurants in Tampa where residents and tourists can get a glimpse of what to expect when visiting for the first time.
The atmosphere at BB is high energy especially on the weekends as both the dinner crowd and those looking for a nightspot with music, dancing and great music is available under one roof.
Patrons can dine at the bar, inside seating or on the outdoor patio where huge fans keep the breeze cool while the sun goes down and the sunset lights the sky on fire.
The food is awesome and many of the dishes have a Jamacian flair adding just the right spice to a hot meal. Their almond crusted grilled salmon will melt in your mouth and the coconut shrimp is the best in town.
When visiting, stop by the open kitchen area and just observe as the chef's put together entrees, appetizers and desserts that will have your mouth watering.
Open late and although there is plenty of parking, on the weekends, it does get crowded and wait times for dining can reach an hour. If dinner is your plan, go early or try an alternate night during the week cause the weekends are a favorite hot spot for the partying crowd.
