Looking for a cheesier than ever celebration, the masterminds behind Bagger Dave’s really used their noodles when planning their new spring menu. With the introduction of the chain’s wickedly delicious Twisted Mac & Cheese, metro Detroiters will be demanding “more cheese please!”
Although this dish will not be officially part of the restaurant’s offerings until the spring menu roll out, a sneak peak will be offered on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 12. All day, customers will receive a free sample of the Twisted Mac & Cheese with the purchase of any burger, sandwich, or regular salad.
“Instead of loading up on paczkis on Fat Tuesday, we want to invite guests to come to Bagger Dave’s and let their taste buds experience something new and delectably indulgent…..and FREE,” said Bagger Dave, mythical company spokesman and mystery to even those with insider access to the chain of legendary burger taverns.
Nearly two weeks later, on Monday, Feb. 25, Bagger Dave’s will release its spring menu. Featured on the menu is the Ono Burger, a beef burger with pineapple BBQ sauce, sautéed onions and bacon. As ono means “delicious” in Hawaiian, this burger is sure to live up to its name.
Also on the spring menu are options for those who observe Lent. These “meatless” offerings include a Veggie Burger, Tuna Melt, Garden Salad, and PB and Honey Sandwich.
