The Bad Weather Brewing Company recently announced plans to open up a taproom and production facility at 414 7th Street West, St. Paul, Minnesota in the first half of 2015. Currently producing craft beer out of Lucid Brewing Company’s facility in Minnetonka, the new facility will allow Bad Weather to expand production capabilities to meet increasing demand.
Bad Weather Brewing Company was launched by co-founders Zac Carpenter and Joe Giambruno in March 2013 as an alternating proprietorship with Lucid Brewing, an arrangement that allowed Bad Weather Brewing to enter the market and begin growing its brand. And grown it has, as Bad Weather is now ready to take the next step by building its own brewery and taproom.
The taproom will provide a place for craft beer lovers to enjoy a rotating list of unique offerings, in addition to Bad Weather’s flagship WINDVANE and seasonal favorites OMINOUS, FIREFLY RYE and MIGRATION.
Carpenter had this to say about the upcoming opening and partnership with Lucid: “Our partnership with Lucid Brewing has been a wonderful jumping off point. Sharing knowledge and space with Lucid and Badger Hill this last year and a half has been an invaluable experience for us. With that experience in hand, we can achieve our goal of opening up our own brewery and taproom.”
