#2-B: Donald Trump
Did you think he would be #1 again? You thought wrong.
This is because, while Donald Trump was the more infamous, more outspoken and much more higher profile voice of the "birther" movement, he does not still directly associate with it.
While Pat Boone still adamantly insists that Barack Obama was born in Kenya, Donald Trump gave himself a great big pat on the back for pestering Obama into finally releasing the long-form birth certificate and moved on to other things.
He didn't stop completely, of course. He just dialed it back to the point where he only insinuated that Obama might be Kenyan instead of flat out insisting so.
Shortly after Obama finally addressed the "issue" with his birth certificate, Trump suddenly developed a fixation on Obama's college records, allegedly because he'd been lead to believe that Obama was a poor student.
Trump had as much proof of this as he had of Obama's Kenyan heritage. And since the liberals and progressives of America all had a set of documents they now all wanted to see in turn (Mitt Romney's tax returns), the constant demands by Trump and the rest of the birthers were met with ridicule when they were not outright ignored.
As was reported by the Bad TV Examiner, Trump finally reached his climax when he hinted that he had a "Major Announcement" about Barack Obama, which quickly devolved into an offer to give five million dollars to charity in exchange for Obama's records.
In addition to Obama's college records, Trump also demanded of Obama his passport applications, hinting that Trump had not truly abandoned the birther conspiracy once and for all.
Donald Trump may be the #1 most wanted fauxlebrity, but when it comes to completely unrestrained political stupidity, he and Pat Boone have been widely outdone.
The true #1 most wanted celebrity know-nothing is as close to soulless as one can possibly become.
