Woodland Hills, California alt-rockers the Bad Suns will headline at Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines on Tuesday night. The band released their debut full-length album entitled Language and Perspective on June 24. The album's lead single "Cardiac Arrest" (see video) peaked at #15 on the Billboard Alternative chart. Colony House and Fitzhume will open the show at 6 p.m. The show is an all ages event with a $10 cover charge.

Wooly's in Des Moines will host Queens, New York heavy metal quintet Emmure on Tuesday. Emmure has watched their last five albums climb into the Top 20 of the Billboard Indie chart. The band released their latest album, entitled Eternal Enemies, on April 15. Opening the show will be Intentions, Ghosthive, Buster Casey, and Corpse. The music will kick off at 6 p.m. for this all ages event, and tickets are $15 in advance and $17 on the day of the show.

New Hampshire-based "trash can blues" duo Yankee Cockfight will headline at the Gas Lamp in Des Moines tomorrow night. YC mixes blues, country, and punk together to create a sound all their own. The band released their latest album, entitled Keep Bangin', in July of last year. Openers Cactus Attack, Fetal Pig, and Dylan Boyle will kick things off starting at 9 p.m. The show is a 21-plus event, and there will be a $5 cover charge at the door.

Christian rockers Fight the Fade will headline a 6:30 p.m. show at Zeke's in Ames on Tuesday night. The Tulsa, Oklahoma band released their second full-length album, entitled Second Horizon, on May 20. Fight the Fade is coming off a performance at the Collide Christian Music Festival in Waukee over the weekend. Opening the show will be As Clouds Break, As We Are, and Echo. The all ages show will have a $5 cover charge at the door.
