"Bad Boys 3" and "A Good Day to Die Hard" have been announced as upcoming movie titles. The sequels to some very successful film franchises likely won't hit Spokane theaters for a while, but the star-power of both films will likely guarantee a good box office. "A Good Day to Die Hard" is set for a February 14, 2013 release, but "Bad Boys 3" isn't even in production yet.
“A Good Day to Die Hard” may as well get called “Die Hard 5” and it (of course) stars Bruce Willis as John McClane once again. This time around, McClane and his son reportedly will take on local forces in Russia. It seems like a very thin plot premise, especially because his character suddenly gains a son, but the action will likely create a good box office again. Patrick Stewart is rumored as a Russian General and probably the lead bad guy in the film.
“Bad Boys 3” has been announced as a new Michael Bay film, starring Martin Lawrence as Detective Marcus Burnett so far. Will Smith has not yet signed on to reprise his role of Detective Mike Lowrey, but it is rumored that he will become attached to the project at some point. Smith has a busy schedule with “Men in Black 3,” “I Am Legend 2” and “After Earth” though, so maybe he won’t end up starring in the film. It’s hard to project it as a success without him though, especially after he helped lead the first two films to box office gold.
