Bacon cheddar burger

My children and I love nachos with all the fixings. But, sometimes it’s just not as fulfilling as it needs to be after a day of hard work and play. This inspired me to create the new bacon cheddar bacon burger with a kick. You’ll be smiling in no time.

Ingredients

16 ounce pack of lean ground beef
1 jar microwavable safe jar of cheddar cheese
1 container of pico de gallo
4 slices thick cut bacon
4 hamburger buns

salt and pepper to taste

Place medium-size sauce frying pan on medium heat. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, add the ground beef and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix seasoning into ground beef. Roll ground beef into enough balls to make 4 ground beef patties and pat to desired thickness. Place the patties into the frying pan and cook for 15-20 minutes or until they are no longer red on the inside. Remove the patties from the heat. Toast and lightly butter the insides of the hamburger buns. Add the hamburger patties to the buns. Top each patty with a slice of bacon. Heat the jar of cheddar cheese according to the label instructions. Pour cheddar cheese evenly over the hamburger patties and bacon. Top with the pico de gallo. Add the top of the hamburger buns.
