The cost of bacon is going up and the demand is high. Apparently this demand caused Torres, 29, to risk the lives of employees and customers at McDonalds. She is being charged with unlawfully discharging a weapon and felony firearms. She is being held on a $50,000 bond. She is scheduled for a court appearance on Feb. 21

The bullet or bacon incident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. It was reported that Torres was a passenger in a vehicle that drove through the drive-thru window at the McDonald’s where she placed an order for a burger with bacon. Torres realized she had a burger but didn't bring home any bacon. She called the restaurant and as a courtesy for the mishap McDonalds offered Torres a free meal. This resulted in gun fire.
