ELIE TAHARI

Date: Wednesday February 15th

Makeup: Romy Soleimani and Stila Cosmetics for Beauty.com

This is what Romy told us backstage: The look for Elie it's kind of easy, it's a smoky, soft slate gray eye and basically what we're doing is depending on the girl's look is we're popping the eyelid a little bit with either a sparkly teal, sparkly navy or a violet depending on the look and it's a great easy way to take a neutral and just give it a litte pop of something fun, the rest of the make-up is very neutral.

Hair:  Esther Langham and Alterna for Beauty.com

Inspiration: “Tahari’s collection reflects real women and tailored pieces that can be found in their closets. I was inspired by this, and wanted to contrast the collection’s structured silhouettes with a natural, not overly-done hair style. Whether worn down or lightly pinned up, this look can easily translate from day-to-night.”

Check out what Deborah Lippmann told us backstage: There are a lot of different angels in the Marchesa collection, there is a Fiery Angel wearing Single Ladies, there are Soft Angels wearing a layered look, Baby Love with a very Opelescent Glitter called Stairway to Heaven over it, there is a Dark Angel that is wearing Fade to Black, which is a very shiny black, there is a Fiery Angel who is wearing Single Ladies--a bordeaux red, and then we have Nefertiti and Stardust which are silver and gold and those girls are having little anklets painted out of makeup. It's a beautiful look, every girl has been thought of from head to toe, matching fingers and toes and every detail is covered, it's magical Marchesa.

«  Before he blow dried wet hair using the T3 Featherweight Luxe, Orlando first  blasted the brush with Phyto Professional Workable Holding Spray to tame flyaways

«  He then slicked hair into a deep side part using Phyto Professional Wet Gel to make it super shiny and secured hair in a low ponytail

«  Applying more Phyto Professional Wet Gel on his hands, he twisted hair inside of the ponytail tightly and wrapped it into a bun (tucking in the ends with bobby pins)

«  He then applied Phyto Phytolisse Finishing Serum over the part to smooth out the hair

«  Finally, he finished the look with Phyto Phytolaque Soie for hold and shine

DEREK LAM

Date: Sunday, February 12th

Hair: Orlando Pita leading with Phyto and T3 for Beauty.com

Inspiration: A modern, but slightly twisted ,schoolgirl at an all-girls college. “The look was kept ‘undone’ to reflect her eccentric personality,” explained Pita.

Get the Look:

«  While hair was wet, Orlando applied Phyto Professional Intense Volume Mousse and blew dry hair (without brushing it so it maintained a piecey, textured look) with T3 Featherweight Luxe

«  Using the T3 SinglePass Whirl Professional Styling Wand, he curled hair at random to create messy waves giving the illusion of naturally curly hair

«  He back combed at the roots for height  while spraying Phyto Professional Workable Holding Spray and then parted hair on the side

«  Orlando then pinned hair at the nape (like you would a ponytail) while he criss-crossed the bobby pins to keep them hidden

«  Finally, he tucked hair under so the ponytail wasn’t visible; the finished look looked like a bouffant
