After winning the award for Best Actress, Blue Jasmine actress Cate Blanchett braved the storm to pop into the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge and ran back to the main tent to catch the rest of the show

Sin City starlet Rosario Dawson and BFF/Mom Isabel Celeste hit up the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge back stage at The 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday in style. Rosario spoon-fed the newly-launched gelato to her mom from a heart-shaped spoon and both joked that it looked like a “little booty.” Soon after, Rosario paused to hand a glass of Dark Horse Wine to Caitrin Rogers, producer of 20 Feet from Stardom, the winner of the evening’s Best Documentary Award, and told Rogers that she deserves a drink because her work is “so dope” that it “put [Dawson] in tears.” Apparently the actress is quite the techie – she was engrossed in a flying lesson from the makers of the DJI Phantom 2 Vision flying camera and compared similar technological prototypes that she’s seen on Indiegogo crowdfunding campaigns. The flying camera was particularly intriguing because Rosario is working on a documentary to teach girls to surf in Sierra Leone.

Arrested Development funnyman Jason Bateman met with friends outside of the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge backstage at The 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards and inquired about the DJI Phantom 2 Vision flying camera, asking, “Can it fly under dresses? I want it so I can take it and fly it up all the girls’ skirts.” His accompanying friend said, “Sweet, I’ll concentrate on the boobs.”

American Horror Story vixen Angela Bassett stopped by the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge backstage at The 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday and dished about her perfect date night, which includes “being comfy in my pj’s with snacks that are a little sweet, a little salty and a little crunchy.” Bassett played her first-ever game of Plinko and chatted strategy, saying that it’s best to “overcompensate and go a little more to the left or right in order to win.” It worked – she won a crystal decanter and a year’s supply of wine from Dark Horse Wine and joked that the year’s supply would only last her six months. Bassett also talked about upcoming projects with the makers of the DJI Phantom 2 Vision flying camera and expressed her excitement to be joining the season 4 cast of American Horror Story, but remained tight-lipped about major details surrounding who’s replacing Jessica Lange. While at the lounge, she scooped up New Balance Fresh Foam 980 shoes, bubble-free shampoo from Tibolli, a gold python Carlos Falchi clutch, a silk pillow and eyemask from Manito Linens for her trip to “visit her man” in Florida on Monday, and undergarments from Fashion Forms.

American Hustle actor Jeremy Renner stopped by the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge backstage at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards to help raise money for charity on Saturday. The self-professed “terrible romantic” remained secretive about his relationships saying that, for him, “date night is personal.” Hawkeye lightened up the mood at the Dark Horse Wine bar while talking about “double-fisting beer and wine” as his style of partying. At the TiVo Roamio Plus station, he professed that he doesn’t watch T.V. or movies, and that he especially has “never watched American Hustle.” Before he left the lounge, Renner expressed his infatuation with the DJI Phantom 2 Vision flying camera and picked up a silk pillow and eyemask from Manito Linens, noting that he needs the product because he’s been “traveling to London back and forth for a while now.” Wonder why?

Glee star Jane Lynch broke her juice cleanse while eating Breyers Gelato Indulgences and Sabra hummus backstage at The 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The funny lady indulged her cravings and took spoonful after spoonful, rolling her eyes in delight and explained that her perfect date night would consist of reading a great book with her headphones in while skipping dinner and heading straight for Breyers Gelato Indulgences. After slipping on New Balance Fresh Foam 980 sneakers, Jane discussed the value of the Film Independent Spirit Awards, citing the fact that “people mortgage houses” and “max out credit cards” in order to make these films which, to her, demonstrates an incredibly strong desire to “tell stories with genuine character.” She paused to hug it out and take photos with Tata Vegas of 20 Feet from Stardom, then took selfies with the DJI Phantom 2 Vision flying camera. Jane scooped up Tibolli’s Touch Up & Go Gift Collection, the TIVO Roamio Plus with Product Lifetime Service, Manito Linens, the chocolate metallic cranberry ombre clutch from CARLOS FALCHI COUTURE, products from the Murad Skincare collection, and a CRUNCH 1-Year gym membership.

Girls star Alex Karpovsky visited the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge backstage at The 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards. When asked about his perfect date night, Karpovsky replied, “I haven’t been on a date in 20 years!” Every bit as eloquent and thought-provoking as his character Ray, Karpovsky tried on New Balance Fresh Foam 980 sneakers also spoke about what the Film Independent Spirit Awards means to him: “These are stories to be told in ways that aren’t formulated.” He even cited Girls as an “independent” show, explaining that the way co-star Lena Dunham wears hats in the show is a “clear and uncompromising choice for aesthetic.” Continuing the train of thought, Karpovsky dipped chips into Sabra hummus and reflected on Ray and Marnie’s current relationship stating that “they hate each other, yet are drawn to each other” and that he “doesn’t know if they should actually end up together,” but that the relationship could have a chance to come to fruition if that’s the course of action that the show takes.

Krysten Ritter also made sure to stop by the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge where she told Dark Horse Wine that her Veronica Mars movie is coming out in March and that fans are going to lose their minds.

Late Night with Seth Meyers’ 8G Band leader Fred Armisen visited the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge backstage at The 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards looking dapper in his signature thick-rimmed glasses and a charcoal gray suit. The former SNL funnyman mused about his “afflicting personality,” saying that his habit of “eating granola and muesli for breakfast wholeheartedly contradicts the fact that he can eat sweets forever on end.” Armisen said that, at this point, he “loves [his] life and everything he does because [he’s] living an absolute dream.” The Renaissance actor-director-producer-writer-singer made sure to pick up the DJI Phantom 2 Vision flying camera for future projects.

American Hustle actress Elisabeth Röhm visited the Dark Horse Wine bar backstage at The 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The beauty played Plinko while wearing an orange Maria Lucia Hohan dress complete with a deep-plunging neckline and flaunting a considerable amount of sideboob. Röhm dished about her perfect date night with Breyers Gelato Indulgences, explaining that it’s important to “make time” for your significant other and not be overly extravagant: “A pint of ice cream is a good start.” The actress checked out the New Balance Fresh Foam 980 sneakers and chatted with John Waters while munching on veggies and Sabra hummus and checking out the DJI Phantom 2 Vision flying camera. Röhm took home additional items like Manito Linens, Fashion Forms, Tibolli’s Touch Up & Go Gift Collection, TiVo Roamio Plus with Product Lifetime Service, handbags from CARLOS FALCHI COUTURE, products from the Murad Skincare collection, and a CRUNCH 1-Year gym membership.

Former SNL funnyman Will Forte brought mom Patricia C. Forte to the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge backstage at The 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards. While in the lounge, the duo ran into Rosario Dawson and mom Isabel Celeste. Forte took the initiative and introduced his mother to Dawson; Rosario, in turn, introduced her mother to Forte and the group paired off. Dawson and Forte drank Dark Horse Wine and talked incessantly about the trajectory of each other’s careers and seemed quite tight-knit. The encounter ended with close hugs and abundant cheek kisses, and Forte left to pick up New Balance Fresh Foam 980 sneakers, the DJI Phantom 2 Vision flying camera, and TiVo Roamio Plus with Product Lifetime Service among others.

Blue Jasmine actress and Best Supporting Female nominee Sally Hawkins attended the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge backstage at The 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The stunning brunette exuded pure sophistication in a head-to-toe printed, collared dress and matching clutch from UK designer Holly Fulton. Hawkins caught up with Blue Jasmine co-star Andrew Dice Clay and sampled Sabra hummus with veggies – fortunately she didn't get any of the delicious dip on her gorgeous dress!

Up and coming Fantastic Four actor Miles Teller attended the Breyers Gelato Indulgences gift lounge backstage at The 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The young star munched on chips and Sabra hummus while watching the live feed of Lupita Nyong’o accepting her award for Best Supporting Actress. Teller was enamored by Nyong’o’s dedication to her mother and couldn’t be distracted while she appeared on the screen. Once Nyong’o took her seat, Teller proved to be the ultimate tech aficionado, asking a number of questions about the lightweight feel of the DJI Phantom 2 Vision flying camera and its smartphone feature.
