School is starting again soon all over the tri-state area. Here are a few events hosted throughout Vanderburgh and Warrick counties to help families and children get ready to return to school.

Saturday, Aug 4, 2012 at 9:00 am there will be a Back to School Family Day at ECHO Community Health Center at 315 Mulberry St. Evansville, IN 47713. Free immunizations will be available with health screenings and free school supplies (children must be present)

Patchwork Central at 100 Washington Ave. will be hosting a Back-to-School Sale from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on August 4, 2012

Forest Hills, Baptist, West Side Christian, North Park Baptist, Olivet Presbyterian and Eagles View will be hosting a Back-to-school outreach with free school supplies to children that are present from 2 to 4 p.m. August 5, 2012 at Helfrich Park STEM Academy. Living Hope Community Church is having a Back-to-School Event immediately after their 10:30 a.m. service August 5, 2012 at 1877 W. Shelton Road, Boonville, Indiana. There will be free school supplies and haircuts for K-12 students

Evansville Black Expo's Back-to-School Rally will be August 11, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. John Methodist Church, 1900 N. Fulton Ave., Evansville. Children will receive free school supplies and refreshments. For more information or to donate supplies, contact Billy Garrett at 812-476-4117.

Eastland Mall's 'Kid's Club' will host a Back to School with Dr. Seuss on Aug. 11 from 1 to 3 p.m at Eastland Mall, 800 N. Green River Road, Evansville. The even will have Dr. Seuss-themed crafts and activities, coupons for back to school shopping and healthy eating tips for children. The event is free and for all children.
