As the summer winds down, kids look forward to one last party. The Back on the Bus, Back to School Expo on August 23 is a family friendly event that will get the kids excited to hit the books.

From 10 am till 4 pm on August 23, Orland Park Sportsplex will be filled with family fun. If families haven't shopped for school supplies, last minute items can be picked up at the Back on the Bus: A Back to School Expo. From pencils to paper, kids and parents will be totally prepared for the first day of school.

Since the day isn't all work, the event will have several ways to have fun. Entertainment for the event will include Jim Nesci's Cold-Blooded Creatures, musical guests, caricature artists, jugglers, food, a free photo both, balloon artist, all the fall trends on display at the Back-to-School Fashion Show and many more fun activities for families to enjoy. Jim Nesci's Cold-Blooded Creatures allow kids to interact with snakes, alligators and much more.

While the event is full of fun, the event will also be a fundraiser. The Back on the Bus, Back to School Expo will be collecting donations for The Bridge Teen Center. The Bridge Teen Center helps to provide free programs during after-school and unsupervised hours where students can develop mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually in a safe environment for teens in Chicago's Southland and Northwest Indiana.

The Back on the Bus, Back to School Expo is free and open to the public. It will be held at Orland Park Sportsplex,11351 W 159th St, Orland Park, Illinois 60467.
