As you head back out to start the new year working here is what you can expect.

Looking at the latest radar there are areas of light snow with a band moving through Central North Dakota that may clip the region later this afternoon.

Today: Mostly Cloudy with periods of light snow, very little accumulation is expected. High temps will be around 27F. Winds from the Northwest around 10-15mph.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy and very cold with a low near 4F, winds will still be from the Northwest.

Thursday: Partly Cloudy and cold with a high near 18F.

Extended Forecast: A warming trend is on its way as temps will be into the 30's by the weekend and first part of next week.

Look for Northwest winds around 15-20mph with periods of higher gust possible.
