It is back. Black Friday is notorious for long lines, mad-dash shoppers, bad drivers, and killer deals! Shop smart this year; plan ahead based on the items you would like to purchase. Save on your surfer’s Christmas list by mapping out surf shop steals.

Board sales
For one day only, on Friday, November 29th, all hands on deck for a new deck… Brand new Sector 9 longboard skateboard completes are an additional $20 off at Strictly Hardcore Surf Specialties. Surf Specialties has $100 off all surfboards and $200 off all stand up paddleboards (SUPs). Southern Spears Surf Shop opens its doors at 9 am and boasts $50 off Carver skateboards. Additionally, Southern Spears will have $100 off all new surfboards and SUPs.

Apparel sales
Surf specialties boardshorts are buy one, get one free. Ohana Surf and Skate is extending Friday’s sale through Monday, December 2nd. Their deals include 70% off all women’s swimwear and buy one, get one 50% off on other apparel. If you cannot make it to the island, stop by PacSun. They will also have a buy one, get one half-off sale. If you are in need of winter apparel, denim is buy one, get one free.

If all of your shopping is not wrapped up Friday, remember to shop your local surf shops on Saturday as well. November 30th is Small Business Saturday.
