On-again, off-again, on-again, off-again, on-again? According to a brand-new report on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are back together.
Back together might be stretching things. At the very least, though, the couple spent Friday night together, with Gomez being filmed leaving Bieber's digs early Saturday morning. To be clear, the report said they were together all night, and observers and fans can conclude what they want. Bieber, 18, and Gomez, 20, are both definitely legal.
Gomez was dressed in a yellow cardigan, black pants, and a black hat, the starlet was reportedly escorted home -- including suitcases -- by one of her ex-boyfriend's bodyguards. Although the photograph doesn't show her face, an insider confirmed that the former lovebirds did indeed see each other.
The pair reportedly broke up during a trip to Mexico, close to New Year's. Although they apparently spent the night together, it's unknown however, whether or not the reunion was romantic in nature.
The source said, "It never ends. We'll see. It's such drama with them."
Indeed. Just after the late December / early January break-up, on New Year's Day, Gomez tweeted: "New beginnings. Fresh start. I love you all :)."
Then, both of them seemed to make musical reference to the split, with Gomez covering Justin Timberlake's famous goodbye anthem "Cry Me a River," saying at the time that the tune "definitely spoke to her," while Bieber responded as well with a song of his own, "Nothing Like Us."
The couple first went out in public together, confirming months of speculation, on Feb. 27, 2011, when Gomez and Bieber attended the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar party together.
