“Bachelors in Paradise” is ABC’s new answer to the summer programming. The “Bachelor” franchise has often provided some summer entertainment with “Bachelor Pad,” but that particular show ended after three seasons. This new show is supposed to take over, even though it is a brand new concept. And the promos have people talking. According to a new PEOPLE Magazine report published on July 14, “Bachelors in Paradise” is already generating lots of buzz because of the stars on the show.
It is still questionable what the show is really about. Contestants on the show are fighting for a second chance at love in Tulum, Mexico. One can imagine that they will work together as a team to win challenges, but there is a twist. Apparently, new contestants will join the show as it moves along throughout the summer. Each episode apparently brings in two new “Bachelor” alums into the mix.
In the end of the night, only six men will hand out roses – leaving two women flowerless and on a flight back home. In other words, people should not get comfortable in matching up early on. Surprisingly, there will be people from Andi Dorfman’s season on the show. Cody Sattler will be on the show alongside Marcus Grodd. Juan Pablo’s ex-girlfriend Christy Hansen will also be making an appearance.
More familiar faces include Brooks Forester, Jackie Parr from Sean Lowe’s season of the show, Kalon McMahon from Emily Maynard’s season, Sarah Herron, and Michelle Money. Surprisingly, Chris Bukowski will return once again to the show. Bukowski was dumped by Emily, went on “Bachelor Pad,” angered some women, tried to crash Andi Dorfman’s first cocktail party, and is now on this show. He seems to be desperate for love and attention.
“Bachelors in Paradise” will start airing once Andi Dorfman’s season of the show is done. She has overnight dates and final dates left before the big proposal. She also has “The Men Tell All” special and “After the Final Rose.” Will you be watching this season?
