'Bachelorette' winner Jef Holm reaping the awards of fame at Sundance

Bachelorette” winner Jef Holm is enjoying his new found fame at the Sundance Film Festival, according to Yahoo TV on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013. Holm, who won the last season of the “Bachelorette” show, was a an unknown, but after his engagement to Emily Maynard he became a well-known reality TV personality. Now that the two have called off their engagement, it appears that Holm is enjoying his fame even more than ever.

Jef is far from being alone at Sundance as news reports had him surrounded by “a gaggle of girls” at a Park City nightclub this week, according to Yahoo. Reports also have him enjoying all the attention he is getting from the ladies while attending the Sundance festivities.

It seems that earlier in the week Jef was “swarmed” by female fans while at a Sundance gift lounge. This sounds like a different man than the one that was devoted to Emily and only Emily, but he is single now and this goes with the territory. Jef and Emily remain good friends today he reports and he gives a simple explanation for the demise of their relationship.

Holm told Us Weekly why he and Emily decided to call their engagement off:

"Emily and I are great friends and I hope we can continue to be friends forever. Everyone wants a salacious story to break, but the truth is we are just two people who fell in love and tried our hardest to make it work. I will always love her."

Jef was Emily Maynard’s second “Bachelorette/Bachelor” hook-up as she was a contestant for the show “Bachelor” first where she was picked by Brad Womack as the woman he was going to marry. The two did not last long, although they played a love affair out for the media much longer than it actually lasted.

Many felt that Emily became a contestant as a way of finding fame and not a husband. It was the stories of her past that pointed out evidence she had been after fame for many years. As it turned out both Emily and Jef achieved fame from the show and their eventual engagement. It seems as if Jef is enjoying every bit of his notoriety today.
