Bachelorette” star Jef Holm has been keeping a low profile since he broke up with Emily Maynard two years ago. He has been single for a while, and he has been attending various “Bachelor” events. He recently went to Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici’s wedding, which was televised live in January. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Feb. 26, “Bachelorette” star Jef Holm is now revealing why he didn’t reach out to Emily Maynard after she announced her engagement last year.

Last year when Emily announced her engagement, many “Bachelor” stars reached out to her to congratulate her. Even Arie Luyendyk Jr wrote to her to congratulate her. However, Jef didn’t reach out on Twitter. “I wish her well, I’m excited for her,” he says, but he has revealed that he isn’t planning on reaching out. “It’s been over a year since we’ve spoken,” he shares.

However, he also has something else happening in his life. He has found love and he is planning on settling down. “I’m dating someone who I’m really excited about,” he shares, hinting at the possibility that the relationship may make him a bachelor no longer. “I think in the next few months to a year I’ll probably not be single with this person. I’m taking it slow!” It sounds like he has learned quite a bit about dating and engagements and he wants to do this right.

Are you surprised that he isn’t reaching out to Emily?
