Will Jillian see through Wes Hayden's
attention-seeking motives?
Country singer Wes Hayden, the Bachelorette contestant the other guys love to hate, apparently shows his true colors very soon.
In the clip released by ABC below, Wes comes in to cuddle with Jillian Harris, comforting her after she sends Robby home. (Guess that was no big surprise, but a surprising choice by ABC to let viewers know a week early.) While he whispers sweet nothings to Jillian, he tells the camera another.
"Right now at this stage of the game, if there's anybody here for a hidden agenda, it'd probably be me," Wes says. "Because I've been working on an album for over a year. There's no doubt this is going to help me. Do you think people are overnight successes? They're not."
When Jillian confides to Wes that she thought it would be different and that there'd be more jerks, he laughs and says, "I don't know. You may want to stick around a little longer. There's a few." Perhaps he speaks of himself. He then stakes his claim and tells Jillian, "I just want more time with you."
"The publicity that I'll get from this, it's almost like I taste it, and I eat it, and it comes inside of me, and it becomes a part of me," says Wes. "I'm gettin' excited. This is fun. I've got records to sell...I'll always have Jillian wrapped around my little finger, y'all. Believe it."

And he thinks the public will buy his records because he acts like a jerk on tv.? By the sounds of that cheesy song he played for Jillian on the first show, I would say he should find another line of work. What an ass.
Wes is such a jerk. I can't stand him and Jillian is wrapped around his finger..that's the problem. And he definitly doesn't want to be with her or he wouldn't make those comments. I just hope Jillian figures it out soon or she will be writing a sad country song of her own.

Jillian is such a sweetheart and to have someone like Wes play with her emotions, hopes and dreams completely depletes respect from me. There is NO WAY i will ever buys any of his music after watching him USE a genuine women for the purpose of his fame.

The people that know Wes Hayden, know that he has been singing and in bands from the time he was a teen....If anyone really believes the things that are on TV then God help us all....It seems to work because more people just need someone to hate. It would be nice if the world was a better place and people could just be nice and lift one another up. God bless everyone and I know Wes has Jesus in his heart.
You know the preview of next week showing someone having problems in the bedroom? (which by the way,I think is totally tasteless) Well, I'm guessing the guy is Reid because Chris Harrison said in his blog that Reid fell off the snowmobile and hurt his groin....
The fact that he thinks he'll sell a CD based on that one cheesey love ballad that sounds like it's from a beginning guitar lesson - is actually funny.
Couldn't that be edited together? It sounds awful choppy to me. I am not saying he is all that great, it would just be so stupid to say it like that. I know they can do a lot in the editing room to make a better story.

he showed on the previews for next episode that he takes her to meet his band. and he also says that he wasn't there for love, it's because he had his career to promote.
I honestly can't believe this ego-maniac Wes was chosen, over a fantastic and genuinely loving guy, like Jake!! What in the world was Jillian thinking??! For the record, Wes wrote that (one and only) song (the one he keeps singing over and over again, tirelessly...yawn...) well before he even MET Jillian...that came out several episodes, ago. The song is really simple and not unique, at all. This guy is a creepazoid. FYI, Wes: People don't like buying music or cd's that involve creepazoid (not very talented) "musicians"!

Chris even warned Jillian that Wes was there for his music before the rose ceremony. But, she choose to ignore him like she did with the advice from the other guy. If she get's her heart broken - I hate to say it but it is her fault. Any person with a half of brain would know they are on the show promoting their music especially since he tried singing his damn songs on every episode.

Country music fans recognize true character. This guy has no morals or ethics. He is not fit to shine the shoes of George Strait or Alan Jackson. Please boycott this guy's music and shows.

He is such a dushbag, does he really think this is going to help his career that everyone in the country hates him and his tactics are terrible. I'm from Austin and I will NEVER go see him play. Secondly, being from Austin there are 100 other guys just like him, nothing special.
I don't really like Wes either, but why is everyone so hard on him. We don't know what he really said. We only know what ABC wants us to think that he said. Sure, he did actually speak the words but in what context. We don't know what was said before those lines or after. He could have been quoting what someone else said about him or been talking about what he thinks others are saying or thinking. ABC can edit anything that they want out to make it seem like something is being said or happening that is not. I don't really like him for Jillian but don't be so hard on him. Remember, ABC wants to create drama for ratings and they will edit to get that.
I don't get how Wes could be such a moron. If we had an ounce of intelligence he wouldn't have admitted his agenda. Now - with all of america falling in love with Jillian- this will really only be bad publicity for him. No way in hell would I ever buy this guys record. What I think is funny is that Wes evidently believes ABC will play his full song and his playing with the band. I hope I never had to hear his music again.
anyone watch the latest from Monday, the 6th? Wes is gone, suka! she sent him home. he made a rude comment while waiting in line at the rose ceremony to the other guys how he knew he was going home now and how he'll be having a lot of sex now. he said a whole bunch of stuff in the limo ride out of there too. glad he's gone. if you're ever in TX, you may see Wes as your waiter at the local diner while he's selling his records. Poor soul, he needs a lot of prayer. Maybe one day he'll get right.
Another "Wes" will be on the new ABC Dating in the Dark, his name is Jeff. Supposedly the show is 3 SINGLE men and 3 single women, however, at least one of the "men" was not single at the time of filming. Seems abc isn't so good at weeding these cheating, liars guys out since Bachelorette recently had same thing happen. These guys need to apply for MTV's show "Is She Really Going Out With Him"
In Dating in the Dark preview where the guys are single file w/ the guy at front leading them in the dark, the guy in the front lies a lot, and was not single when the episode he's featured in was filmed ... he was actually dating my daughter and they had just spent Valentine's weekend together, she obviously didn't want him to go on the show, and she obviously broke up w/ him when he went ahead and did it. In an attempt to make up w/ her, he sent her a fake Tiffany necklace! What a loser!
We already know that the girl on the show doesn't continue a relationship w/ Jeff.
