connections to both Wes Hayden and Brad Womack.
On last night's Bachelorette, Jake returned to warn Jillian Harris that Wes Hayden was in a relationship and shouldn't be trusted. "Her name's Laurel," Jake confessed. The pilot says Wes confided in him on three separate occasions that Laurel was his girlfriend.
A heartbroken Jillian was left to make sense of the "he said, he said" mess. Should she trust ''the all-American perfect guy, or the all-Texan bad boy?"
By the day's end, Jillian was convinced Wes Hayden had nothing to hide, though his critics accuse Wes of appearing on the show solely to advance his music career.
According to a Texas food blogger Rob Balon, the "Laurel" Jake refers to is Laurel Kagay, an Austin boutique owner who Wes Hayden started dating before appearing on The Bachelorette.
What's more coincidental? Kagay is the same girl Brad Womack (Bachelor 11) was allegedly texting daily during his season's taping--an ex-girlfriend who Womack dated for three years. Womack did not choose either of the top two women that season, returning home empty handed.

The plot got thicker when Wes apparently confided to one of his rivals on the show that he had a girlfriend back home named Laurel. Bear in mind that Wes has already been accused by his fellow bachelors of using the show as a publicity vehicle for his music.
So once again Laurel Kagay is all over the net as the girl who almost single-handedly ruined two reality shows. The truth of the matter is though that she was neither girlfriend to Brad when he was The Bachelor nor girlfriend to Wes during the filming of The Bachelorette. Yes, she has dated both but she wanted me to point out that she is now most definitely a bachelorette. She just seems to attract guys who get on national dating shows while being a bit obsessed with her.

Not a girlfriend during the filming.? How convenient for any liar, or opportunist filming a show to help launch a career. Lindsay, the fact that you said this makes you look about as stupid as Jillian. Wes is a skunk opportunist, Laurel a slut opportunist and no doubt the show has attracted bad apples that try to get on the show to sell something.
Laurel has made it clear that she also wants a career. Show is entertaining, but it is more produced soap opera than reality Just read Chris Harris's blog, it reeks of promotion and BS. Nice try Bachelorete, Bachelor, your busted, but keep the drama up. It beats the news.
Jillian, makes a great first impression, but it sure wears out in a hurry.

Actually Tony, the article states that Rob Balon said Wes and Laurel weren't dating during the show. Just to clarify.
Tell me how Jake and Ed knew where to find Jillian in Austin, Texas. Everything is suposed be secret. The whole thing was staged to make the show more interesting and get higher ratings.
Obviously the producers told them. They would have had to call ahead and get permission. It doesn't mean Jillian knew.

Wes can't be trusted! He obviously has feelings for Laura or he wouldn't have specifically mentioned her name to Jake! Wes has mentioned several times that his goal is to enhance his career. Jake wouldn't just make up a story and he has a lot more credibility than Wes. I don't care if Laurel denies it-I believe Jake. Wes is a snake that needs to go!!! If I had a daughter

Regardless, this Laurel keeps popping up. Is she trying to get on the show? What are the chances of the same girl having anything to do with Brad Womack, Collin Evans and Wes Hayden? It sounds like she is putting herself in these situations on purpose. Either that or she has been with most of Texas.

Actually what he said was "The only bachelor to make it to the top four with a girlfriend." He did not say HE was the only one and his words were taken out of context. It was meant sarcastically, like "Yeah right". God, get a clue and stop buying into their editing crap.
How could Ed have to leave the show because of work when Wes wasn't allowed to have a phone to call anyone about his dying grandmother? He was told that his mom had the number to the producers and if anything happened to his grandmother she would call. Anyways, it's all about the drama, I feel sorry for Jilliam who went there to find love and found a producer controlling her emotions the whole time. I don't think someone can be plucked off the street and act like they have on this show. The producers are the ones that are making all the drama. Ed leaving for work and then returning, they knew Jilliam liked him alot. Editing what Wes said every step of the way to make him look like an ass. I feel sorry for the guy myself, listen to his radio interview with reality steve and you'll get the whole picture.
Before anyone makes any further comments regarding Wes and his alleged character, or lack thereof...listen to this, and stop being led like sheep to slaughter at the hands of the Bachelorette producing staff. The show is contrived, and if you think they can't edit the crap out of sound bites you know nothing about A/V or sound editing.

These two were having dinner at Baker Street Pub in Austin tonight. I overheard her making fun of last nights episode of The Bachelor. He's some typical lame musician you find in this town and she's a spoiled rich girl from Westlake... an affluent highscool here. I went to school with her.
