Bachelorette recap: Bye-bye Bentley, and Ashley gets roasted

On this week's Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert got thrown a major curveball when her top guy chose to leave the show. Bentley Williams left Ashley in episode three, and told her he missed his daughter. To the camera, he confided that Ashley wasn't really his type and he didn't find her that attractive.

This blow to Ashley's confidence was only compounded by the fact that a group of guys roasted her on a group date, and William the cell phone salesman hit Ashley in the jugular with a small-boob joke and then said that he only signed up for the show because he thought the Bachelorette would be Emily or Chantal.

This was Ashley's number one fear coming into the show, so she spent much of the evening crying in the corner. A few guys tried to console Ashley, but her mind was swimming with insecurity. She gave a date rose to Ryan P., one of the guys who assured Ashley that he was glad the Bachelorette was her.

On her final date, Ashley spent the night in her apartment with J.P. The two even had a pajama party in comfy sweats and flannels (pre-planned, because J.P. had some pajamas as well), and Ashley gave J.P. a rose. She said he was a great kisser, even compared to Bentley, who she can't stop thinking about.

Cutting the field from 15 to 12, Ashley gave roses to:

  • Ben C. (one-on-one date)
  • Ryan P. (group date)
  • J.P. (one-on-one date)
  • Constantine
  • West
  • Mickey
  • Ben F.
  • Blake
  • Nick
  • Ames
  • Lucas
  • William

What did you think of Ashley reaction to the Bentley exit? Do you think she's ready to move on and find her husband?
