Bachelorette News: Reality Steve interviews Wes Hayden about Laurel, Jillian and his edit

Wes Hayden, eliminated from episode 8 of The Bachelorette (Screencap: ABC)

Blogger Reality Steve recently posted an audio interview with Bachelorette contestant Wes Hayden, who was eliminated in Monday night's episode 8.

In the 85-minute interview, Hayden clears up some misconceptions about his edit on the reality show. In the interview, he discusses:

  • His history with Laurel Kagay, who he says he was not dating during the show.

  • His relationship with Jake Pavelka prior to the confrontation on his hometown date.

  • The date in Spain and how he belived he and Jillian Harris had a genuine connection.

  • The exit-interview in the limo, and his statement "first guy in Bachelor history to make it to the top 4 with a girlfriend."

  • Why he thought he and Jillian should visit the fantasy suite.

  • The "numero uno" quote he made at dinner.

  • The upcoming "Men Tell All" episode, taping this Saturday. Hayden says he's unsure if he'll attend the taping, though he's contractually required to be there unless he has a work obligation.

Hayden also recently spoke with the Bobby Bones show about his edit.

Not buying the crap that it was all "fake". Wes is a slimbag, not because he was portrayed as a "bad boy" but because of what he said in the limo and what Jake revealed about why he was really there - to promote himself and his CDs..When it walks like a duck, talks like a duck...you know.
Editing can only do so much.
    Wes is at it again.
