Jake Pavelka has opened up to the media about the Wes Hayden and Laurel Kagay dating situation.
Jake talked to E!Online about the confronation, why he came back to the show and why he said the things he said.
Jake told E!:
The conversations that Wes and I had were not, 'Hey Jake, I got a girlfriend.' It was, 'Hey Jake, I got a girlfriend and I don't know what to do.' I said, 'Wes, are you in love with her?' I said, 'If you're not in love with her, you may fall in love with Jillian.' And, he said, 'No. Jillian is not the girl for me.' Wes was talking to me in the final episodes about going ahead and bowing out and getting out of the show. He had already gotten what he was looking for, to sell CDs.
I know 100 percent without a shadow of a doubt that he and Laurel are together, and they were together during the show. I think it's all an act, and I think Laurel was in cahoots with him. I don't believe it. I know it. We had multiple conversations. It was a dialogue back and forth. He told me he loved her. And I said, 'Are you developing feelings for Jillian?' He said, 'She's just not the girl. I'm going to break her heart.' He said, 'I'm going to bow out when the time is right.'
Laurel was in cahoots with him. His biggest fear was he makes it far enough that they have to go behind closed doors [on an overnight date]. He was so worried about that because that wasn't going to be OK with Laurel, and this is the stuff that came out of his mouth. [Evidently] she's cleared [him] to kiss her.

They had an agreement to put their relationship on the back-burner so he could go on and sell CDs. I’m a God-fearing man and if I am mistaken or he didn’t tell me that, God can strike me down with lightning right now.

ok, if that is true why did you have to break Wes' confidence in you to publically humiliate Jillian if Wes stated he was already going to bow out?
Wes is a big liar and Jake did the right thing. Obviously when confronted, Wes stood by his lies. I don't know who Jillian chooses in the end, but I wish she never got rid of Jake. Wes is a snake and doesn't deserve to sell one copy of his lousy CD.
OK, so Wes is a snake. But, raise your hand if you really think he's the first person to go on reality TV for publicity and fame... At least he's only selling out himself, his girlfriend, and poor, clueless Jillian, and not his 8 children like Jon and Kate!

True, many people get on this show for publicity, but at least they aren't as disgusting as Wes.
Wes is such an ass. I would never buy one of his albums. The kind of person he is makes me sick. I hope his career takes a dive and he has to work at McDonalds.
Look, if Wes REALLY did say all of the things Jake claims he did, and right to his face, don't you think the producers would have actually captured him telling Jake this stuff on camera at least ONCE??? These camera guys are basically rolling 24/7, and you expect me to believe that they just happened to miss all of these conversations between Wes and Jake??? I ain't buying it...Jake is full of $hit.
BT, weren't you watching when Wes was driving away in Spain and admitted to being the first guy ever to make it to the top 4 while having a girlfriend? Straight from the horse's, or rather the snake's mouth! Well done Jake. You'll find a woman who deserves and appreciates you.... if only I were 20 years younger. :P
Oh, I really hope that Jake is our next bachelor, he is a good guy. He just sometimes makes me wonder if he wants to be in love so badly that he doesn't care who its with.

Jake deserves to be the next bachelor: As for Wes I'm not sure. He might have been put in the role of the bad guy. I listened to his tape and remember everyone this is a reality show and they can blog anything. I am not a Wes fan but remember what they said about Ed having a girlfriend back in Chicago. Will just have to wait and see.
Hi I'm from Wes's hometown and ..I believe he was there for publicity the whole time.. he's actually a real douche and whomever ends up with him in the longrun is lame too! Get a life Wes!! Stop trying so hard!
