Ali Fedotowsky is a bachelorette again. Her engagement to hunky Roberto Martinez is over according to reports in several tabloids, including People and Life & Style. The couple were engaged on ABC's The Bachelorette, season 6.
Rumors that the couple were not heading to the altar have been circulating for months, with their wedding being put on hold for various reasons - including Ali's knee injury - during their 18-month engagement.
One day prior to Monday's break-up announcement, Ali posted to her Facebook wall:
Feeling very thankful for all the beautiful, kind, giving people in my life. Which is fitting since its the start of Thanksgiving week! Though, I'm super thankful for them each and every day
The couple's rep released a statement to PEOPLE saying, "Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship. As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple's privacy." (continue reading below)
Hints that this Bachelorette couple were heading towards splits-ville include the postponement of their wedding date and Fedotowsky's vague statement weeks ago that she and Martinez were '...still figuring out our lives as individuals."
Ali Fedotowsky first appeared on Jake Pavelka's season of "The Bachelor" and then returned to ABC as Season 6's Bachelorette. She and Martinez moved in together in San Diego but are now just another couple in the Bachelor franchise that didn't make it to wedded bliss.
