To date, there have been 13 seasons of ABC's The Bachelor. Season 14 will begin filming in 2009.

Season 1 starred Alex Michel. He did not propose final rose recipient to Amanda Marsh, and the two broke up after a few months. This season also starred Trista Rehn as the runner-up, who went on to star in Bachelorette season 1.

Season 2 starred Aaron Buerge. He proposed to Helene Eksterowicz on the show, but the couple broke up.

Season 3 starred Andrew Firestone. He proposed to finalist Jen Schefft, but the two broke up. Andrew is now married to model Ivana Bozilovic. Jen went on to star in Bachelorette season 3, after her relationship with Andrew fizzled out.

Season 4 starred Bob Guiney. He did not propose to final rose recipient Estella Gardinier, and the couple broke up. He is now married to actress Rebecca Budig. (Meredith Phillips also starred on this season, and went on to become the star of Bachelorette season 2.)

Season 5 starred football player Jesse Palmer. He did not propose to finalist Jessica Bowlin, and the couple broke up.

Season 6 starred bass fisherman Byron Velvick. He proposed to Mary Delgado. The couple is still engaged, and has been in the news for a few episodes of domestic disputes.

Season 7 starred actor Charlie O'Connell, less-famous brother of Jerry O'Connell. Sarah Brice received the final rose, but there was no proposal. The two broke up in 2007, but got back together in late 2008.

Season 8 starred Dr. Travis Stork. He gave Sarah Stone the final rose, but did not propose. The two broke up after the show aired.

Season 9 starred Italian Prince Lorenzo Borghese. He chose Jennifer Wilson for the final rose, but did not propose. The two later broke up.

Season 10 starred doctor and Navy Lt. Andy Baldwin. He proposed to finalist Tessa Horst, but the two ended their engagement.

Season 11 starred bar owner Brad Womack. He narrowed it down to two finalists, Jenni Croft and Deanna Pappas, but did not choose either. At the end of the show, Womack stopped seeing both women, and was rumored to be in contact with an ex-girlfriend. Deanna Pappas went on to star in Bachelorette season 4.

Season 12 starred British bachelor Matt Grant. He proposed to actress Shayne Lamas, but the couple broke up after the show aired.

Season 13 starred single-dad Jason Mesnick. He proposed to Melissa Rycroft, only to break up with her on the After the Final Rose special. The same day, he asked runner-up Molly Malaney for a second chance. The two are currently dating with plans to marry in the future. Meanwhile, Rycroft got engaged to longtime friend and new boyfriend Tye Strickland.

Season 14, The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love, premiers Jan. 4, 2009. It will star Jake Pavelka, who appeared on Bachelorette season 5 with Jillian Harris.
