"The Bachelor" finalist , Lindsay Yenter, revealed some shocking news this week after she was sent home without being proposed to by "Bachelor" Sean Lowe. As a fan favorite many thought Lindsay would ultimately win Sean's heart, and if not, at least the chance to be the next Bachelorette. But in a March 12 press conference (the transcript of which Examiner.com has obtained from ABC), the self-described "Army Brat" revealed she wasn't even asked to star in the popular spinoff. "I was not approached," Lindsay confirmed.
Lindsay also revealed there are no hard feelings that she wasn't asked. Just like her heel-stripping walk-off from "The Bachelor," she showed true class when discussing her feelings for being overlooked as the next "Bachelorette." "I just really want a normal life and I love teaching and I love normal (laughs) -- the normal stuff. I'm not really looking to be on another TV show."
As Examiner.com reported ABC confirms the next "Bachelorette" will be Desiree Hartsock. She was the fourth to last lady sent home after a disastrous hometown date with Sean. Des's season of "The Bachelorette" (Season 9) will begin filming soon and premieres on May 20 on ABC.
