“Bachelor” star Juan Pablo’s season of the show is scheduled to start next week and like any other new “Bachelor” star, Juan is now under the microscope. He has revealed that he spends time with his daughter, Camila, and one can imagine that she will play a small role on the upcoming season. However, there have been no clarification as to whether he actually has full custody of his daughter. According to a new Radar Online report published on Dec. 31, “Bachelor” star Juan Pablo could be facing some public criticism after new details of his child support payments are made public.
According to his bio for the show, he resigned from his professional soccer career with Miami FC in 2008 after receiving the life-changing news that his then-girlfriend, Latina actress Carla Rodriguez, was pregnant. Up until now, Carla has been out of the picture, as she hasn’t been a part of the show up until now.
But apparently, he was ordered to pay child support back in 2011, two years after his daughter was born. “Juan Pablo has been hoping that news of his court-ordered child support didn’t get out because he doesn’t want ‘Bachelor’ fans finding out he’s not the perfect father he portrays himself to be,” a source revealed. It wasn’t a big amount, but one can imagine he doesn’t want the label of being a dead-beat dad.
