‘Bachelor’ star Juan Pablo’s rejected lady blames editing

Bachelor” star Juan Pablo met his many women on the season premiere this past week and he seemed a little overwhelmed with 27 ladies, begging for his attention. And while the introductions went well, it sounds like one girl was rather upset about how she was portrayed on the show. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Jan. 8, “Bachelor” star Juan Pablo’s potential wife believes that she was portrayed falsely on the show.

“I didn’t really know what to expect,” Lauren Higginson revealed to E! News before turning in to watch the season premiere. “I knew they would use that little meltdown. There have been a lot of people who have been really nice and felt sorry for me and I hate that because I don’t want that, but it’s one of those deals that I was very dramatic, so what can you do?” She admits that the tears were real, but that she didn’t feel the context of the cries were correct.

“The talk with [Juan Pablo] I actually had to leave the room, because it was painful,” she revealed. “First off, [producers] took out all [Juan Pablo’s] dialogue, seriously I did have an actual conversation [with Juan Pablo] so it just had me talking. So of course I looked like an idiot. The dramatic part I was ready for — I did that — but I did not like looking ignorant. So that bugged me more than anything. I can have a conversation, good lord!” She believes that the producers needed someone to look ridiculous and her story was a good start.

Do you think editing is to blame?
