“Bachelor” star Juan Pablo had been telling Clare that he was having lots of fun with her, which made her think that she was going to be the final woman standing. However, during the finale, he revealed that he would prefer to pick Nikki for his future. And when he went to hug Clare after letting her down, she pushed him away. Even though he experienced a public backlash, he hasn’t changed his mind about how things went down. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on March 13, “Bachelor” star Juan Pablo is now revealing that he has no regrets about what he said about Clare after he let her down.
“I lost respect for you ... I thought I knew what kind of man you were. But what you just made me go through, I would never want my children having a father like you,” Clare told Juan Pablo as she stormed off. Instead of taking it to heart, he said, “Whew. I’m glad I didn’t pick her!” And that didn’t sit well with fans.
After the finale aired, he revealed that he didn’t regret not talking to her about it. Instead of reacting, he was expecting her to just walk away. "It was very tough for me to say goodbye to Clare, but she made it easier with her reaction. She was expecting me to propose, I get it, but you don't have to come at me like that," he says. "It was childish. She disappointed me." And what’s more, he sounds like he’s still peeved at Andi for her exit speech. "Like with Andi, we don't have to talk about what happened or didn't happen. Just go."
However, it sounds like Juan Pablo doesn’t have any regrets saying what he did during the finale. People have gained plenty of respect for Clare, who said what she felt during the finale. Do you think that Juan Pablo has any respect left for Clare?
