“Bachelor” star Jake Pavelka may not have chosen Gia Allemand on his season of the show, but that doesn’t mean that the two didn’t remain friends after his season wrapped up. The two went on to do another season of “Bachelor Pad” together and actually became good friends. So, he was more than shocked when he learned of her suicide just a few weeks ago. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Aug. 27, “Bachelor” star Pavelka is now revealing that his Twitter followers have actually helped him through the show.
“Gia's death has rocked my world. Those that have tweeted condolences. Thank u! I've read EVERY 1 of them. Love you guys! U hv bn my rock!” Pavelka tweeted earlier this week. Pavelka was close with Gia, as they had dated briefly while filming the show. They were on “Bachelor Pad” together, so they had grown closer. And it sounds like he was actually rather heartbroken when he first learned of the news. “I had to pull over, I can't stop crying. We have lost an angel,” he tweeted the day he found out that she had passed away.
Even though the two didn’t work things out on “The Bachelor,” Pavelka has later said that he would have picked her if he could do the whole process over again. During his season, she placed third and he choose Vienna - the villain of his season. Obviously, things didn’t work out well.
Are you surprised that Pavelka has gotten support from his fans?
