“Bachelor” star Gia Allemand shocked everyone when she took her own life in August of this year and passed away after being taken off life support. Everyone were in shock over her heartbreaking decision, because she felt rejected and unloved by her partner, Ryan Anderson. Apparently, she wanted to get engaged and he wasn’t ready. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Oct. 9, “Bachelor” star Gia Allemand’s life will now be celebrated in New York in December and he is asking everyone to mark their calendars.
Gia’s friend Craig Robinson wants to do something for her to celebrate her life. She has already been laid to rest and now her friends are coming together to remember her - and they are inviting viewers of the show to come out and remember her.
“Good morning kids. Details to come but there will be a bday celebration of Gia's life in NYC 12/20. Mark ur calendars now #bachelornation,” Craig Robinson revealed on Twitter. Although he hasn’t shared more details on Twitter, Craig told Wetpaint Entertainment that he’s working to organize the memorial with Gia’s mom, Donna Micheletti and her best friend Becca.
After her death, Gia’s friends from New Orleans had a memorial for her, where they threw flowers into the Mississippi River to honor their lost loved one. A viewing for close friends and family was held at Papavero Funeral Home a few weeks after her death. At this point, there are no details about the New York event, but it will be a fundraiser and will be on what would have been on Gia’s 30th birthday.
