The Bachelor 2014 is really heating up, and last week's Week 5 episode in Vietnam only stoked the fire.

Bachelor spoilers 2014 indicated there would be drama during the Week 5 episode on Feb. 3 , but we weren't prepared for the Internet uproar over whether or not Juan Pablo Galavis had sex with one of the ladies vying for his heart. (Click the highlighted text for Bachelor spoilers 2014 related to Week 6 and even the Season 18 finale.)

Gossip swirled online after Juan Pablo's late-night rendezvous in the warm tropical waters with Clare. Did they have sex? Didn't they? No matter what happened under the moonlit waves, why did JP have such a negative reaction to Clare afterwards?

Clare Crawley, 32, attempted to clear things up in a People magazine interview that ran on Feb. 8, in advance of Monday's Bachelor Season 18 Week Six episode on Feb. 10.

"I just wanted to swim in the ocean and check that off my bucket list," Clare told People. "I never in my mind was thinking, 'This is going to be something raunchy.'"

"Nothing happened. We did nothing wrong," Clare insisted.

As far as Juan Pablo's reaction later, when he expressed regret for having spent that time with Clare (though some speculate he was expressing regret for having sex with her - after all, why else would he be in such an apparent moral crisis?), the pretty blond bachelorette was downright confused. "The hardest thing was the confusion, because he was more than willing to go in the ocean, he was more than willing to participate, he was more than willing to enjoy it. He was having a blast, and so, in my eyes, it just was really strange he had such a dramatic opposite reaction to it."

But Clare assured fans she is no doormat for Juan Pablo to wipe his feet on (and then regret having wiped them on her particular mat, probably). "I think I wish I would've been a little bit more verbal, and you'll see in the next episode that I stand up for myself."
