Welcome to “The Bachelor: Sean” week 3! Tonight (January 21, 2013) there were sixteen girls remaining and according to the previews shown at the beginning of the show, lots of drama ensued. Sean had 3 dates: one group date and two one on one dates. Let’s get started.
Lesley M. got the first date of the night; a one on one entitled “How long will this love last?” They traveled to the Guinness World Records museum in Hollywood and chose to break a world record themselves. Sean chose the “Longest On Screen Kiss” record, and try to beat the current record of 3 minutes, 15 seconds. They, of course, beat the record by one second, and received a commemorative plaque recognizing them for their new world record. They ate dinner on the roof of the Roosevelt Hotel, and Lesley received her rose.
Kacie, Robyn, Leslie H., Kristy, Catherine, Desiree, Taryn, Amanda, Lindsay, Daniella, Jackie, and Tierra were all chosen for the group date this week, entitled “Who’s going to win my heart?” The date consisted of a day at the beach, playing volleyball. The girls were divided up into two teams with only the winning team continuing on the date, and the losing team returning to the mansion. Lindsay, Jackie, Robyn, Desiree, Amanda, and Kacie were Team #1. Team #2 consisted of Leslie, Kristy, Catherine, Taryn, Daniella, and Tierra. Team #1 won the challenge and Team #2 had to return home. The girls continued on to Sean’s mansion, and Lindsay was awarded the group date rose.
AshLee gets the final one on one date card, entitled “Do you believe in magic?” Just before their date, Tierra falls down the stairs and the ambulance was called, but Tierra refused treatment. Sean tended to her, and kept AshLee waiting while he was making sure she was alright. When Sean and AshLee’s date finally got started, they went to Six Flags, had the whole park to themselves, and hung out with two chronically ill teenagers. They were all treated to a concert by The Eli Young Band, and then Sean and AshLee went to dinner where AshLee was given a rose.
At the cocktail party, Sean brought Sarah’s dog, Leo, over for a quick visit, and asked Tierra about her injury. Three girls have roses at the rose ceremony, and thirteen await their fate. Before Sean starts handing out roses, he takes Kacie out of the room and tells her that he doesn’t see her as more than a friend, and eliminates her individually out of respect. Tierra, Leslie H., Catherine, Daniella, Robyn, Selma, Sarah, Jackie, Amanda, and Desiree receive roses, which means Taryn, Kristy, and Kacie (from earlier) are eliminated.
Return next week to see the girls and Sean go on their next adventure. “The Bachelor” airs Monday nights at 8/7c on ABC.
