Every Tuesday bachelor Sean blogs for People.com after each dramatic episode airs. In his People.com blog dated Tues, Mar. 5 the blonde haired, blue-eyed hunk shared his feelings on the ‘Women Tell All’ Special that aired on Mon, Mar. 4.
Lowe acknowledged that he may ‘be the only man in the history of The Bachelor’ who has been excited for the 'Women Tell All' special. Known for being one of the most sincere bachelors to date, Sean insists that he was genuinely happy to see the ladies.
However, the experience didn’t run near as smoothly as Lowe had hoped.
AshLee’s accusations made him particularly uncomfortable, and came completely unexpected. The 32-year-old personal organizer alleged that he told her he didn’t have any feelings for Catherine or Lindsay. Bachelor Sean insisted that he never said that, but AshLee didn’t back down.
“I knew AshLee was an emotional person, so I didn’t really expect her to be all smiles like Des was, but I definitely didn’t expect what I got. After Chris invited AshLee to the couch, she began to tell me that she always viewed me as a southern gentleman and how she was very disappointed that I didn’t come check on her after sending her home,” blogged Sean.
Sean went on to say that he was totally ‘caught off guard’ by AshLee’s confrontation. When he sent her home he wanted to be a nice as possible, but instead of taking her moment to say goodbye, and possibly get an explanation, she walked away in silence. Sean remembers being in AshLee’s position when Emily Maynard sent him home, so he certainly is not unaware about how being sent home feels. The Bachelor also believes that if he had checked on AshLee, it would have made everything worse.
However, the real bombshell that shocked Sean was AshLee accusing him of saying that he didn’t have any feelings for Catherine or Lindsay during their overnight date.
“Let me set the record straight – I never said that. I would never say that. It just doesn't make sense. Of course I had feelings for the other two women. That's been apparent for weeks! And not only did I have feelings for them, I was falling in love with them. I even had feelings for women like Des and Leslie, who weren't even there anymore. In that moment on WTA, I felt like it was an attack on my character, so I began to get defensive. I was so stunned by the accusation that I was speechless,” Sean wrote.
Sean still doesn’t know what caused AshLee to say that, or to get that misled impression, but he stands by his word that he never said that. He went on to say that he wishes her the best, and hope she finds a great love one day.
The Bachelor also acknowledged that though we didn’t see it on TV, he did get a chance to talk with Sarah personally. Her departure broke his heart, and he wanted to encourage her, and build her up. He assured her that she really will find the right man when the time is right.
Once again, Sean also had nothing but positive words to say about Des. He even admitted that part of him still wonders if he should have taken her to Thailand. The bridal stylist will always hold a special place in his heart. In fact, she would get his vote for next season of ‘The Bachelorette.’
Another interesting confession from Sean? He wishes that he had gotten a chance to address Lesley during the show. In fact, that is his only regret during the reunion. He really enjoyed her, and wanted her to know how wonderful he thinks she is.
Though Sean had a lot to say about the ‘Women Tell All’ special, AshLee was clearly what really threw him off. The reunion may not have been the way he envisioned it, but he did his best.
With the WTA special behind him, he is awaiting the finale next week.
