This comes as good news for all the ladies out there that aren’t ready for the hunky blonde haired blue-eyed Sean Lowe to be done with his reality TV stint. During Good Morning America on Tues. Mar. 12, it was officially announced that the sought after bachelor will be joining the season 16 ‘Dancing With the Stars’ cast. That’s right, folks. Mr. Lowe will be gracing the ABC network once again.
The confirmation comes just one day after the final rose ceremony in which Lowe chose Seattle Graphic Designer, Catherine Giudici.
“Hopefully, I won’t make a fool of myself on the dance floor,” Lowe said.
The 29-year-old newly engaged Lowe said that when he was asked to join the show, he made sure to ask Catherine how she felt about it.
In a People report dated Tues, Mar. 12, Lowe shared, "When they asked me, the first thing I did was call Catherine because I wanted to make sure she was on board and was fully supportive," Lowe tells People.
"I didn't want her to feel left out. I wanted her to know that she was going to be involved and she's going to be a big part of this with me,” he continued.
Catherine is completely supportive of Lowe’s new gig, and said that she will be his biggest cheerleader. She also added that she used to take a lot of dance classes, so she would enjoy revisiting it with him.
Lowe isn’t the first contestant from the hit reality show to find himself on ‘DWTS.’ Melissa Rycroft, Jack Pavelka, and Trista Sutter are all ‘DWTS’ alumni.
On Feb. 26 it was announced that Kellie Pickler, Wynonna Judd, Jacoby Jones, and Lisa Vanderpump will be on season 16 as well. Sounds like ‘DWTS’ is bringing viewers a cast of variety.
Will you be watching the upcoming season? What do you think of the cast so far? Do you think Sean will keep his shirt on this time?
