On March 18, 2013, Sean Lowe, who recently found the love of his life on “The Bachelor,” will perform for the first time on national television during the live two-hour premiere of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Also Monday night, a "reimagining" of the iconic movie “Psycho” airs in the form of A&E’s “Bates Motel.”
Sean is not the only reality show to grace the “DWTS” dance floor this season, as “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump will also strut her stuff, along with country singer Kellie Pickler, who got her start on the competition show “American Idol.”
Joining them will be Alexandra Raisman who captained the U.S. Women’s Gymnastic Team during the 2012 Olympic Games; comedian and actor Andy Dick; stand-up comedian D.L. Hughley; Olympic skater Dorothy Hamill; soap opera star Ingo Rademacher; football player Jacoby Jones; boxer Victor Ortiz; Grammy winner Wynonna Judd; and Disney star Zendaya.
The season premiere of “Dancing with the Stars” airs Monday night at 8 p.m. ET.
Also Monday night, “Bates Motel,” described by A&E as a “reimagining of the ‘Psycho’ franchise’ premieres. The show, described by the Boston Globe as “creepy and cryptic,” stars Oscar-nominated actress Vera Farmiga as Norma Louise Bates, the mother of Norman Bates, who is played by SAG nominee Freddie Highmore.
“Bates Motel” premieres on A&E Monday at 10 p.m. ET.
