"The Bachelor" Sean Lowe is now engaged to Catherine Giudici, but fans can still enjoy the hunky blonde on television. Lowe will be on the cast of "Dancing with the Stars," according to a March 12, 2013 announcement on "Good Morning America" on ABC Television Network. The handsome bachelor is hence going from one hit ABC reality show to another.
Season 16 of "Dancing with the Stars" premieres on Tuesday, March 18, 2013 (8-10 p.m.). ET). The premiere of the live results show airs on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 (9-10 p.m. ET).
Sean Lowe may turning into a reality show favorite. His first brush with television fame was as a contestant on Emily's season of "The Bachelorette," where he was eliminated right before the show's finale, or coming in third place, as it were. Sean was heartbroken by Emily's rejection, but rallied to find love again on the following season of "The Bachelor."
The next edition of the franchise is the ninth edition of "The Bachelorette." At the end of the "After the Final Rose" special, it was announced that Desiree would be the next bachelorette. Desiree Hartsock next Cinderella in "The Bacheorette"
There were some thorns on the road the the final rose, but Sean finally got down on one knee in front of the final bachelorette, Catherine Giudici. Heartbroken was Lindsay, who truly believed that she would be getting engaged in Thailand.
Sean Lowe appeared with his fiance in the special "After the Final Rose," where he announced that they planned to get married on television. Host Chris Harrison was gung ho and enthused that since he was ordained, they could get married right then and there. In the meantime, Lowe will be partnered with Pete Murgatroyd on "Dancing with the Stars." Lowe joins a cast that includes: Wynonna Judd, Peggy Hamill, Zendaya Coleman, Andy Dick, D.L Hugely, Jacoby Jones, Kellie Pickler, Victor Ortiz, Ingo Rademacher, Alexandra Raisman and Lisa Vanderpump.
