It’s official. After Monday night’s tearful “Bachelor” season finale People magazine reported March 12 that the couple, Sean Lowe and fiancé Catherine Giudici, are still going strong; unlike so many other past “Bachelor” couples. It’s been four months since the series finale was filmed and now the couple is thrilled they can go out in public like normal couples.
“We’ve been harboring this secret for so long. We just want some sort of normalcy, to go out to eat, hold hands and do all the things that couples do!” Lowe says with smiles.
The couple does not have a date set yet; but Lowe is on the fast track to marriage. Catherine says, “Soon. I don’t see why there would be any waiting period. I want to be his wife.” Lowe agrees. “I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I can’t wait to have the wedding. If it were up to me I’d go to the courthouse and get it done.”
Don’t fret fans. That’s not likely to happen since ABC has already commissioned the couple for a wedding show just like former “Bachelorette” couple Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum. For the last four months the couple kept in contact through emails, texts, phone calls, and Skype. A few times they were able to sneak away without anyone knowing.
What do you think; is this a relationship that will last like Trista and Ryan, or soon to fizzle out like so many other past contestants? Sound off in the comments below.
