Fans of 'The Bachelor' had been anxiously awaiting the Mon. Mar. 11 finale in which Sean Lowe had to choose between Lindsay Yenter and Catherine Giudici. Early spoilers all over the internet indicated that Lowe chose Catherine in the finale, and as usual, they were correct. The finale included an elephant ride, many tears, a special letter, and ultimately Sean getting down on one knee and proposing to the 26-year-old from Seattle. Catherine readily accepted his proposal, and the newly engaged couple rode off.....on an elephant. Romantic, right?
Lowe and Giudici made an appearance on the 'After the Rose' finale which aired immediately following the finale. Viewers learned that the relationship is still going strong, and that the couple is in the midst of wedding planning. Sean said he would be content with bypassing the drawn out process, and simply getting married at the courthouse. Chris Harrison insisted that he is ordained, and could marry them right on the spot. Though the couple didn't accept Harrison's offer, they did have a major announcement to make. They haven't set a date, but they have determined that they will be getting married on ABC TV.
Not surprisingly, the latest couple of the hit reality show isn't going to exactly opt for a traditional wedding. They figure their relationship happened on TV, and so they might as well marry on TV. After all, they want to share their special day with all their fans that watched their journey from the beginning.
Let the guessing games of the special date begin.
