On the Feb. 3 episode of "The Bachelor," Juan Pablo and Clare took their relationship to the next level with a "swim" in the warm waters of Vietnam -- but did they have sex? In his People Magazine blog, Juan Pablo said that he "made a mistake" with Clare but all of this vague talk has people wondering what actually happened.
"The next day I felt guilty because Clare got more time with me than the other women. I regretted giving Clare the extra time. Also, I didn't think it was a good example for my daughter to watch daddy going into the ocean with a girl at night. I already had a great day with her and even taking her to my pool was something that I should not have done. Honestly, my mistake," Juan Pablo wrote.
So did Juan Pablo and Clare have sex? It seems like the show was edited to make viewers think that the two had sex but they probably didn't. While you might wonder why Juan Pablo was going crazy and feeling guilty if the two didn't hook up, you have to remember that he's a different kind of guy. He is kind of old-fashioned and he really wants to set a good example for his daughter. Just going for a late night sexy swim with Clare was likely enough to make Juan Pablo feel bad. And that's probably all that happened.
While there is a lot of chemistry between Clare and Juan Pablo, if the two actually had sex, Juan Pablo would be living a lie and all of the other relationships that he has on the show would be scarred. If he chooses Clare in the end, well then it doesn't matter -- but judging by the previews, it looks like lady luck might go home next week.
Do you think Juan Pablo and Clare had sex?
