Season 18 of “The Bachelor” with Juan Pablo Galavis is over but the backlash keeps coming. Some have called him the ‘worst bachelor ever.’ According to March 15 report by Radar Online, Galavis’ behavior caused some serious tension on the set of “The Bachelor: After the Final Rose,” particularly when he wouldn’t tell his girlfriend Nikki Ferrell that he loved her.
The website claims an inside source told them “There was major tension on the set of the After the Final Rose special.” The source also claimed “Juan Pablo did not get along with anyone.”
Host Chris Harrison was among those Juan Pablo didn’t get along with. Reportedly, Harrison wouldn’t even talk to JP between takes. He felt the bachelor was rude.
The source continued, saying, “Producers are furious that Juan Pablo is seemingly turning his back on the show. Just the way he talks about the show, the way he antagonizes people on social media, he’s not creating a likable atmosphere.”
Juan Pablo took his turn to respond to the criticism in a blog posted on People. In it the single dad says:
“Some people don't like me, hate me and wish me the worst. There are some that still see me as the guy before Vietnam, that cares about his daughter, that cares about other people (especially the 27 women who took the time to meet me), jokes around a lot, is sarcastic, likes to dance, drama-free, who wants a family and is very honest – like I said before, maybe too honest for this reality show – and it's okay.”
When asked if he would ever entertain appearing as “The Bachelor” again, Juan Pablo replied, "I will always be thankful for the opportunity, but if you asked me to do it again, I would definitely say, 'HELLLLL NOOOOO'."
Juan Pablo and his final rose pick, Nikki Ferrell are said to still be dating. Andi Dorfman, a semi-finalist in season 18 has been selected as “The Bachelorette” for season 19.
