Bachelor producer Mike Fleiss picks plus-size women to star in new reality dating show

Plus-size reality dating show to appear on FOX this summer.

Successful reality producer Mike Fleiss of Bachelor/Bachelorette fame has announced the creation of a new reality dating show that may surprise viewers.

Set to premier on FOX Tuesday, July 28, More to Love is based on the premise that love comes in all shapes and sizes. The series will follow "a single average guy with a big waist and an even bigger heart as he romances several confident and secure plus-size women. Each week, the husky hunk will wine and dine a group of curvy women to determine if they have more love to give or if they are truly more than he can handle. When the size of competition narrows, he will have to decide if one full-figured lady will become his true love."

Executive producer Fleiss said, "This is a dating show that sends the right message about embracing and loving yourself no matter your shape or size. When you are comfortable with your own body, you can really allow yourself to be open to the possibility of finding the right person to love."

Full-figured supermodel Emme will host More to Love. The show will be produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television.

Will this couple get hitched or ditched?

A show you may have caught on air already is Hitched or Ditched, another Fleiss invention. The show airs on the CW, Tuesdays at 9pm.

This series will focus on "couples who are in long-term relationships but have not yet taken that big leap into marriage. Nominated by a friend who believes it's either time for the couple to tie to the knot or break up, each episode features a different couple who accept their friend's proposition to set a wedding date in one week’s time. Throughout the week leading up to the big day, the couple is put through a series of personalized exercises that test their relationship, all while planning their dream wedding. They may have to confront their problems ranging from mending relationships with future in-laws to dealing with jealousy issues. When the wedding day arrives, the couple will make the final decision - will they tie the knot or call the whole thing off?"

Can Stacey date a man young enough to be
her child?

Another Bachelorette spin-off show which just wrapped up on TV Land was The Cougar, a series hosted by Vivica A. Fox. In this show, a pool of young men competed for the affections of an older woman named Stacey, a "beautiful, blonde mother of 4."

Viewers have seen this concept before. In 2007, ABC aired Age of Love, a dating show where tennis star Mark Philippoussis had women in their 20s and 40s all trying to win him over. Twenty-something Amanda Salinas prevailed, though their relationship had no staying power.

I'm glad to see they are finally going to put us BBW's in the spotline. Rather than consider us less than human. I am looking forward to watching the new show More to Love. However, I couldn't help but notice that it will be using women in their 20's & 30's, What about us older women that are looking for love as well ?
    Like women in their 40's & 50's ??

That's great that they are putting BBW in a show which emphasizes plus-size beauty. But I still have to complain that even we women who are in the size 6-10 range are never on TV either! How about a show representing that too!

I agree . . . . I'm 49 and single, childless. I'm beautiful, intelligent (Accountant), sweet, loving, passionate, fun and adventurous, and I also happen to be a little on the BBW side. What about a show for us? C'mon guys . . . sign me up pleaseeeeeee. I'm tired of loser boyfriends.
