ABC is planning a new bachelor spinoff for the summer, and “Bachelor in Paradise” will bring back previous contestants to help them find love. Entertainmentwise reports on March 23 that the show will be similar to the “Bachelor Pad,” but it will allow the contestants to stay in a tropical location. The show has promised that villains and others from previous seasons will return.

Although ABC has not confirmed if Juan Pablo will join the bachelor spinoff, it shares that there will be a mix of favorites and villains to keep fans happy. The show is set to air in the summer, but it will only have six episodes. Similar to “Bachelor Pad,” prizes will be up for grabs, and ABC hopes love is also a part of the show.

Chris Harrison will return to host “Bachelor in Paradise” as contestants from “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” get to enjoy a tropical vacation with a twist. Although the show has confirmed roses will still be a part of the ceremonies, it may be planning to change some of the other traditions. Producers do not want it to be identical to the “Bachelor Pad,” so fans should expect changes.

Some sources are already comparing the upcoming show to “Temptation Island” with the tropical location serving as a backdrop for affairs and love triangles. ABC is not sharing details about contestants at this time, but it plans to include people from several seasons.
