We are close to the halfway point of season 18 of “The Bachelor” and that’s usually when the season’s ‘villain’ begins to emerge. On Jan. 31, Wetpaint reminded us that during Sean Lowe’s run for the roses, Tierra LiCausi won the dubious honor. Before that, Courtney Robertson won the title. ‘Bachelor’ host Chris Harrison says things may not be so cut and dried this time. His teasers are the most interesting so far.
Harrison said on Twitter, “Who’s [sic] side will you take Mon night when the drama hits the fan? #TheBachelor.”
Naturally he’s not going to let the cat out of the bag but there’s already been a good deal of cattiness. Maybe it’s time for the claws to really come out!
Let’s review what we know based on the promos and other spoilers floating around. Clare Crawley tries mightily to gain the advantage with an ‘offer’ that doesn’t seem to end well for her. She does get Juan Pablo to forego his no-kissing rule during a group date outing on a boat. That doesn’t sit well with the others either.
Last week Nikki lost some status with the girls after she broke the pact all the girls made about letting those who hadn’t had any one-on-one dates have the majority of the time with JP at the cocktail party. That’s not the best way to win friends.
Of course, Juan Pablo doesn’t always follow his own rules. Maybe his own inconsistency has gotten him in hot water.
Tune in Monday, Feb. 3 when week 5 of “The Bachelor” airs and find out which of Juan Pablo’s ladies are facing off.
