"The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison enjoys a good relationship with his ex-wife, Gwen. It's so good that he wouldn't mind helping her find love as the Bachelorette. In an interview with The New York Times, posted on Friday, Feb. 18, Chris talked about the possibility of his ex being on the show.
"That would be amazing. She’s beautiful. I think she would love that. I would not only host that, I’d produce it," he replied when asked about if his ex-wife wanted to be the Bachelorette.
When it comes to his own prospects of being the Bachelor, however, Chris nixed the idea. While he said it was feasible now that he's divorced, he would just be too skeptical to fully throw himself into the process.
"Now that I’m divorced, it’s feasible. But there needs to be a level of innocence and naïveté when you come in to be the Bachelor, and I have none. I have seen how the sausage has been made for 12 years now, and I helped make that sausage and so it just wouldn’t work," he explained.
He also joked that he's just way too old and unfit to star on the show.
Even if Chris's ex-wife Gwen is interested, she'll have to wait a bit to get her chance to pass out the roses. It has been reported that attorney Andi Dorfman, who dumped Juan Pablo Galavis on the last episode of "The Bachelor" after a disastrous fantasy suite night, has been picked to be the Bachelorette and has even already taken a leave of absence from her job to film the show.
