Bachelorhost Chris Harrison is usually willing to listen to what people to see who they would want to see on the show for the upcoming season. Last season when Desiree Hartsock was searching for love, people came back with overwhelming desire to see Juan Pablo find love. However, perhaps they should have done more research before signing him on to do the show. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Feb. 27, “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison is now revealing that he will still let fans pick the lead of the new seasons even though this season wasn’t the results they had hoped for.

“Each week, you know, you get people telling, you know… as soon as someone gets voted off I think it’s natural because we know that typically we’ll bring somebody in from this season,” Chris has revealed of the casting process. Of course, there was an overwhelming demand for Juan Pablo even though he didn’t get much air time, as Desiree Hartsock sent him home rather quickly. “We take them into account. And, you know, as producers … we want the fans for the show to essentially tell us who they want,” he adds.

Of course, Chris and producers decided to go with Juan Pablo as millions of people wanted to see a season with him. However, the negative attention he has gotten over the past week has resulted in lower ratings. It sounds like producers will have to do a better job at picking the new lead for "The Bachelorette."

Do you think Juan Pablo was the right decision?
