'Bachelor' favorites Melissa Rycroft and Sean Lowe weigh in on Juan Pablo

The “Bachelor” fan base is still reeling from the Season 18 conclusion. Juan Pablo Galavis took the cake for most awkward season finale and “After the Final Rose” special. Galavis chose pediatric nurse Nikki Ferrell but did not propose or even profess love to her. Several of the past “Bachelor” contestants are weighing in on what happened. According to a March 13 report from the New York Daily News, Sean Lowe offered Juan Pablo Galavis some unsolicited advice. Lowe basically told Juan Pablo that he owes it to the fans to be open about what is going on.

In 2009 “The Bachelor” had another controversial moment. Jason Mesnick had asked Melissa Rycroft to marry him at the end of the season, but when they came back four months later, Mesnick dumped Rycroft and asked Molly Malaney to marry him. Jason and Molly are happily married still, and Rycroft is expecting her second child with her husband. Rycroft thanked Juan Pablo Galavis in an article in People Magazine because his season took away the drama that was still attached to her season.

It looks like this controversy will be going on for quite some time, maybe even up until “The Bachelorette” airs in May. “The Bachelor” started out quite promising with Juan Pablo Galavis at the center, but ended quite badly. It appears that Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell are happy, but how long will it last?
